Architect/Healthcare Planner

AE Works is actively seeking a creative and highly talented Healthcare Projects Planner to join our team.   

Technical Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited university
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration given preference
• 10+ years of industry experience required
• Recent experience in direct and overall planning of various large healthcare projects required. 
• Proficiency with latest planning and modelling software required
• Skilled with using cloud based and mobile technology for collaboration

Role and Responsibilities for Position:

• Assist client with determining proper organization and layouts of spaces and departments
• Works with end users to determine orientation of clinical rooms and medical equipment
• Assists in creating, reviewing and coordinating the architectural plans, interior elevations of clinical spaces, reflected ceiling plans and equipment plans
• Assist design team by following the planning and design information through the production and documentation process to ensure continuity of the design intent
• Travel with team members for onsite collaboration, investigations, and project presentations
• Attend interviews for new work opportunities and participate as needed
• Attend industry events including participation in speaking and presenting to demonstrate expertise
• Participate in corporate activities including Social and Eco projects to support and develop the Triple Bottom Line business model and enhance our B Corp status
