Shipping and Receiving Associate-Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking to hire a Shipping and Receiving Associate in the Metals Department. 

Job Duties:

• Provides timely and courteous service to customers/drivers.
• Appropriately identify, handle, sort and process focus materials.
• Identify non-conforming products.
• Weighs, records and sorts materials.
• Utilizes forklift and skid steer to move, sort and organize shipments.
• Inspect and inventory all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Performs regular housekeeping and ensures work area is clean and free of debris.

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write and do basic math.
• Basic computer skills.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm M-F and some Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm.

Starting pay is $18 per hour plus opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
