ER Specialist

As an ER Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. You will handle employee grievances, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on employee relations matters. Your expertise in labor laws and regulations will be essential in reviewing and updating policies to ensure compliance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations by addressing and resolving employee grievances in a fair and timely manner.
• Conduct thorough investigations into employees' complaints, ensuring adherence to legal and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations matters.
• Keep abreast of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend policy updates as necessary.
• Mediate disputes between employees and management, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees and managers on relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ER Specialist or a similar role in the Hospital & Health Care industry.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle employee grievances and conduct investigations.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of HR policies and procedures.
