The role

The Lead Software Engineer is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and Koodoo. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.

Responsibilities

Are you a JavaScript wizard who loves both React and Express? Do you dream in code and think in architecture? We're on the hunt for a rockstar Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team!

• Code Mastery: Write clean, efficient code that makes magic happen from front to back (React, Express, MongoDB, GCP).
• Architect Extraordinaire: Design and refine scalable, robust systems that stand the test of time.
• Code Review Guru: Provide insightful and constructive feedback to keep our codebase top-notch.
• Mentor & Guide: Lead and inspire our senior and lead engineers to reach new heights.
  Innovate with AI: Bring your experience with Generative AI to the table, helping us push the boundaries of what's possible.
• Proven expertise in full-stack JavaScript (React, Express, MongoDB, GCP).
• A knack for system design and architectural excellence.
• Ability to lead by example, guiding and mentoring other talented engineers.
• Passion for Generative AI and experience applying it in real-world scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a love for tackling complex challenges.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
