Junior Estimator

Hire Resolve is seeking a Junior Estimator for a well-established construction company in the built environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, assist with tender submissions, and package RFQs (Request of Quotations).
• Compile comprehensive BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and measure and draw-up BOQs from drawings.
• Attend site clarification meetings for tenders and provide feedback to Senior Management.
• Follow up on RFQs sent out to Sub-Contractors, ensuring competitive pricing on each trade for the tender.
• Build and maintain relationships with various Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to secure the best market pricing.

Requirements

• BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar built environment.
• Proficiency in Candy (CCS – Construction Computer Software) and MS Office.
• Valid Driver’s License and own transport.
• Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables.
• A motivated self-starter with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
