Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team.
Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Toronto, ON
Length of Assignment: Permanent
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/yr
Position Summary:
Our growing Chartered Professional Accounting practice is searching for an experienced staff accountant for a diversified role including preparation of NTR, review and audit engagement files including corporate and personal tax planning and preparation.
- The position is suited to a highly motivated individual who is able to communicate effectively with clients, apply common sense, is results driven, has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

The ideal candidate with possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in a related discipline with a CPA designation
- A minimum of 3 years relevant business experience as an accountant within a CPA firm
- A good knowledge of ASPE and CAS as well as experience with Caseware, Caseview, Taxprep/Profile, Quickbooks and Simply accounting
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
