FUNKIN COCKTAILS National Account Manager, Route to Market

Location: Field Based - Full time role 37.5hrs

What we’re looking for...

FUNKIN Cocktails are looking for an energetic & entrepreneurial National Account Manager to join our exciting on-trade team. As NAM your key focus will be to lead, drive and develop business within the route to market channel. Your customer base is likely to include big-hitter accounts and your focus will be on development of the independent free trade, driving our current FUNKIN Cocktails range and the innovative & exciting new products. 

This role would suit a confident National Account Executive taking their step up into Account Management. 

Your responsibilities will include...

As National Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain a close relationship with the account base that delivers tangible business benefits and agreed volume and turnover targets 
  • Negotiate annual contracts with customers to maximise sales
  • Work with customer account teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Manage FUNKIN promotional activity through the RTM
  • Identify and recommend growth opportunities for, e.g. new trends
  • Manage P&L, pricing, forecasting and internal accruals for account base
  • Coordinate with OTR team to manage indirect listings and forecasting
  • Seek new business and brand building opportunities both within the account base and new RTM

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in account management
  • Experience of managing routes to market 
  • Industry experience and spirits knowledge preferable 
  • Commercial acumen
  • Be a strong Influencer
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, identifying business or channel wide opportunities
