- xpert skills in z/OS operating systems architecture, design & implementation. Optimal would be 3-5 years of experience in the area of z/OS mainframe software area. Hands on person with an overwhelming aim to serve and support the customer, when problems appear
- Understanding and hands-on experience with SMP/E and working with z/OS operating system is a must
- Experience in software development/deployment on z/OS operating system up to z/OS Rel. 2.4
- Expert skills in TSO/ISPF, REXX, z/OS and its subsystems are essential (base: z/OS Systems Engineering)
- Comprehensive knowledge of all related IBM utilities and tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Good understanding of Change Management principles and related experience
- Skills in the area of assembler programming is welcome, but not a must.
- Team Player, Initiative and customer oriented thinking, must perform independently
- Interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
- Strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
- Good written and spoken English is a must. German speaking skills would be welcome and helpful
- Basic understanding of project management
