The International Events Manager will help create and oversee events outside of North America to ensure they are done professionally and provide great value to both attendees and KnowBe4. The primary focus for the individual in this role will be the planning and execution of an international corporate events plan and the planning and execution of an international marketing events plan. These plans in tandem should ensure that KnowBe4 is hosting and sponsoring events that actively engage with security professionals, and that those attendees convert into high quality leads.


  • Manage and/or support the planning and logistics for trade shows and events outside of North America, as well as virtual events, including timelines, venues, booths, vendors, hotels, staffing, and budgets proposal, pre-event logistics/operational details, on-site event management and reconciliation
  • Manage the planning and logistics for all corporate events outside of North America, including KB4-CONs and User Groups
  • Identify and secure staff, speakers, special guests, and/or entertainment for each event
  • Ensure the Marketing department has detailed information and goals for each event
  • Plan event layouts and agendas
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Marketing and event staff team, attendees, and guests
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to promote events pre and post event
  • Ensure leads from events are received in a timely manner and and correctly processed and tagged for importing and tracking to sales in HubSpot, Salesforce, and other systems
  • Analyze the success of each event and propose creative new improvements to the attendees’ experience
  • Assist in site selection, contracting and negotiation process 
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to present possible new international marketing events
  • Assist the Marketing department in meeting Company objectives for lead generation and pipeline from international conferences, events, and trade shows, and virtual events
  • Organize and maintain an annual calendar and website page of confirmed international marketing events
  • Order promotional items and maintain inventory   
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority and personalities - be a positive collaborator.
  • This position is a hands-on role, the International Events Manager should expect to be involved in each aspect of every event, from ordering swag to planning strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Trade show management and event management experience in the corporate or technology space
  • Experience in managing multiple events simultaneously  
  • Experience in a project management software such as Smartsheets 
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent customer support skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to understand ROI and other key metrics
  • Working knowledge of other service-oriented roles, including space management, audio/visual, décor and entertainment, signage, housing, and speaker management
  • Excellent communicator with high attention to detail
  • Positive collaborating working cross-functionally with internal and external teams
