Job Description/ Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the Kubernetes clusters in different infrastructures.

• Assist in migration of containerized application.

• Design and implement zero-downtime to accomplish highly available service (99.99%)

• Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) between different region Datacenters

• Monitor and resolve issues in all environments.

• Troubleshoot production issues, including performance and function issues.

• Patching images and upgrading Kubernetes clusters

• CI/CD

• Change management

• Provide technical engineering working on various technologies

• Design and implement solutions to improve existing support processes and tools

• Support our development and management infrastructure and integrate all systems to work as one

• Write automation code and build tools for provisioning and operating our development infrastructure on multi OS virtualized environments

• Preparing root cause analysis for network and server outages

• Introduce innovations, track and follow up on planning and execution of quality initiatives.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from college or university and 6+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong knowledge with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)

• Software background with Scripting and Automation experience (AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes)

• Experienced in Next Gen Security - App Layer Firewall

• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

• Good communication skills and works well in a team environment and with stakeholders

• Familiarity with tools for monitoring and system alerting

• Managing multiple products/release cadences with source control branching strategies

• Strong knowledge of Linux and network.

• Strong Knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.

• Understand each component of Kubernetes control plane.

• Security and compliance knowledge for Kubernetes.

• You have worked with common infrastructure tools like Docker, Helm

• Experience working in a global team

• Experience working with a product that has end-users

• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Bitbucket and Nexus.

• Experience with monitoring (Cloudwatch , Grafana, Prometheus etc.), alerting and logging.

• Experience with cloud security methodologies including authentication, encryption, networking

Nice to have:

• Experience with NoSQL datastores and search engines such as Mongo and Elasticsearch

• A strong understanding of web technologies such as REST APIs

• Experience with securing system.

• Experience in Kublr.

• Experience in security tools like Wiz .

• Knowledge on Istio service mesh.

• Great communication skills with a willingness to pair/swarm on critical issues and engage with your teammates to solve challenging problems

• A passion for continuous learning and improvement
