This Role
As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base for Enterprise Content Management, digital workplace solutions, intranets, and collaboration solutions. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with mid-sized and large organizations, understanding their unique business needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their digital workplace experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team, engage with high-profile clients, and make a significant impact on our business.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and target mid-sized and large organizations that can benefit from our ECM, digital workplace solutions, intranets, and collaboration tools.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through research, networking, and prospecting.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand clients’ business challenges and objectives.
- Present and demonstrate the value of our services, showcasing how our solutions can address clients’ specific needs.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design customized proposals and solutions that meet clients' requirements.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in ECM and digital workplace solutions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services in the market.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in ECM, digital workplace solutions, or related technology services – at least 5 years of experience.
- Deep understanding of ECM, digital workplace solutions, intranets, and collaboration tools (Microsoft M365, Alfresco, OpenText,...).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
- Embrace a hunter mindset, be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
- As your target is the Belgian market, you live in Belgium.
