RN, Director of Nursing (DON), 10,000 Bonus

Lake Ridge Care Center, a 5-star rated, senior care campus in Buffalo, MN, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to help lead our team as the Director of Nursing (DON)!  Lake Ridge is a 56 bed skilled nursing facility offering Long Term Care (LTC), Transitional Care Unit (TCU) and Hospice. This vital leadership role comes with generous benefits and a $10,000 Bonus!

In this role, you will supervise nursing staff, oversee patient care, and maintain high standards of care for our residents. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility, leadership skills, and ability to partner with other department managers.  

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.

RN, Director of Nursing (DON) responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, lead, and supervise our entire nursing department in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
• Ensure our residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being needs are met.
• Promote and demonstrate excellence within our multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop methods for coordination of all resident services to ensure the continuity of person-centered care.
• Meet expectations for participation in reimbursement programs in effort to maintain our reputation for quality of care.
• Lead change efforts and promote innovations in resident care.
• Have clinical creativity to manage department within state, federal and professional guidelines. 
• Maintain the highest standard for providing resident care through exceptional hiring, training, and mentoring programs.

RN, Director of Nursing (DON) skills and requirements:

• Must have previous healthcare management or supervisory experience.
• Prior Director of Nursing (DON) experience preferred.
• Must have a current MN Registered Nurse license and be in good standing.
• Leadership expertise, demonstrated clinical and assessment competencies.
• Strong team-building and communication skills are required, along with excellent professional and supportive supervisory experience.
