Summary: The main function of a clinical data manager is to collect data from a variety of medical research projects, such as clinical and pharmaceutical trials. Clinical data managers work collaboratively to make sure data is collected, managed and reported clearly, accurately and securely. Job Responsibilities: Work with senior management for best practices for data storage and analysis strategies. Enter data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for storage. Prepare reports, statistical comparisons, data charts and other presentation materials between the research team.Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time. Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results. Data management skills required. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field required. Experience with database technologies. 5-7 years experience required.
At least 4-5 years of experience in authoring of Aggregate safety reports or working on signal detection activities, safety analyses of large complex aggregate datasets is mandatory Should have good understanding of the requirements of various aggregate reports (PBRERs, PSURs, PADERs, Risk Management Plans) Should be able to perform and/or lead aggregate safety analysis and case level review Author, contribute, and coordinate the preparation of core safety deliverables Ensure commitments (e.g., Pharmacovigilance Agreements (PVAs), assessment reports) are met ARIS G or ARGUS safety database experience is preferable but not mandatory. First round of interview with ***, second with the client PoC (This may be one or two rounds) The role reports into Associate Director, PSSA. The candidate will be working closely with client PoCs. All work assignment will be directly from the client
