Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our fraud prevention team. As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and analysing fraudulent activities within our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and operations, to develop and implement fraud prevention strategies. Ultimately, your focus will be on maximizing the security of our systems and minimizing the financial impact of fraud

Requirements

You will be responsible for:

• Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for fraud prevention systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement fraud detection and prevention solutions
• Conduct thorough investigations to identify and analyse potential fraudulent activities
• Develop and maintain effective fraud prevention strategies and tools, ensuring continuous improvement
• Monitor and analyse data to identify emerging fraud trends and recommend proactive measures
• Generate and present regular reports on fraud detection and prevention activities to stakeholders
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of fraud prevention systems into existing infrastructure
• Support the training and development of junior team members

In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on fraud prevention
• Solid knowledge of fraud detection and prevention methods and tools
• Good to have knowledge of at least one payment scheme.
• Good to have knowledge with one of the following: AS.2805, EMV, NPP 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
