Summary:
The Enterprise Program Manager is responsible for supporting programs across departments (HR, IT, Cybersecurity) at Torc to ensure successful delivery of program objectives. This role requires frequent engagement with stakeholders in various departments to align on the work and resolve or drive resolution of issues and risks. The role requires a high degree of skilled stakeholder engagement across all disciplines and levels of the organization, including frequent communication with leaders up to and including the C-suite. This role requires high judgement, capable of making independent decisions with little direction. This person should be a self-starter, curious, creative, solution-oriented, unafraid of ambiguity and able to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization to solve problems and drive clarity, learn and adapt from failure, and be motivated to tackle new topics and challenges.
What you'll be doing:
- Leads cross-functional teams to scope complex initiatives, across technology, human resources, cybersecurity and IT, and more.
- Define goals and objectives that drive cross-functional teams to deliver on complex, highly-coupled initiatives.
- Drive the organization to successfully achieve program objectives and measures of success.
- Clearly articulate status of program assignments through frequent updates, dashboards, and metrics.
- Identify, map, track, and drive dependencies and risks to resolution.
- Identify and drive process improvements for process issues impacting the program(s).
- Analyzes product milestones and ensures cross-functional work is planned and if approved, executed in-order-to meet objectives.
- Identifies dependencies and drives dependency management between Technology and other Torc departments to enable successful completion of program objectives to deliver against the product roadmap.
- Ensures clear understanding of dependencies between and across organizations at Torc.
- Identifies and mitigates risks, issues, and opportunities toward program success.
- Identifies and supports development of standards and processes to enable successful completion of programs.
- Monitors progress of program assignments against program objectives, communicating issues, risks, and mitigation plans with key stakeholders.
- Defines and reports on key performance metrics to communicate status and issues including the creation of dashboards.
- Engages all appropriate stakeholders to ensure all departments are focused on the highest priority business needs.
- Works collaboratively across program management, technical program management, and product management teams to ensure a strong partnership.
- Independent preparation and post-processing of meetings and workshops including organization, moderation, decision tracking, documentation of outcomes, as well as follow-up on actions.
- Supports intake processes into Engineering from Torc internal and Torc external organizations.
- Frequent writing of business narratives, status updates, and scoping documents.
- Experienced with integrated scheduling and dependency mapping.
- Regular communication of program status, risks, and schedule updates to senior leadership, up to and including the executive leadership team, as well as out to a broad set of organization-wide stakeholders.
- Supports requests for engineering support for product demonstrations to ensure scope, requirements, and priorities are clear, and key stakeholders, and dependencies, are identified, communicated, and managed.
- Sufficient technical depth to lead project scoping, understand internal dependencies, conduct cost estimation on programs
- Mentors and guides more junior team members
What you'll need to be successful:
- Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through BS+ 6+ years of experience, MS+ 3+ years of experience, or PHD 1+ years of experience.
- Requires transportation to locations away from the site. Valid US Driver’s license with a safe driving record required. May travel occasionally to other sites. May have the opportunity for international travel, as required
- Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline; conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment

US Pay Range
$186,200—$223,400 USD
