We are currently seeking an experienced Project Development Associate to join our rapidly growing team in Dubai.

Position Purpose:

The Project Development Department is responsible for generating new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients and facilitating the onboarding of clients as their projects go into production. The department collaborates closely with other internal departments to craft proposals that clearly reflect our understanding of and approach to each individual project.

The Project Development Associate is a crucial member of the Project Development team, with major responsibilities in client communication. Oftentimes the Project Development Associate is the first person to interact with “cold” calls from potential partners, and, as such, plays a critical role in introducing TAIT to new clients. The role supports the Project Development Team and Executives in developing complex proposals and will act as project manager on RFPs (requests for proposals), ensuring that all requirements have been met and the proposal is set up for success under client review. The role also collaborates with the TAIT marketing team on conference planning and is crucial in the upkeep of our CRM system.

Requirements:

  • Field incoming cold calls and emails, acting as first point of contact for new clients and introducing them to the correct account manager based on the account manager’s specified verticals.
  • Attend weekly MENA pipeline calls, recording all actions and/or notes.
  • Manage the TAIT CRM system, ensuring that the deals and contact information are up to date on a weekly basis, and work with the Senior Project Development team on CRM-related projects.
  • Prepare proposals in Keynote, PowerPoint, and/or Word with the Proposal Manager and the Account Manager. Assists in writing narratives to TAITs solution approach, case studies for past projects, and organise the document into a cohesive, winning proposal. File each into the correct Project Development google folder after submission.
  • Route NDAs and work agreements to the correct legal department member under tight deadlines and ensure that the client and account manager knows the status of the documents. Send red-lines and route agreements for signature via automated system. File each into the correct Project Development folder.
  • Keep an organised list of created materials from previous RFPs that could be re-used in future proposals.
  • Ensure that all proposal materials are updated in the relevant folder and assist in the archival process.
  • Lead conference planning and coordination, including managing travel, meeting requests, and logistical support.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team Members on marketing efforts including conferences, client appreciation parties, holiday card/gift efforts & case studies.
  • Represent TAIT Group at industry functions and conventions.
  • Participate in the creation of "department-specific" marketing material as required.

Skills, Experience, Certifications:

  • 2+ years working in a role directly with clients, patrons, of customers.
  • Arabic speaking
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Degree in business, marketing, construction management, or similar, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (strong verbal and written communication skills) and work cooperatively.
  • A willingness to collaborate and an excitement to work with creatives.
  • Proficient knowledge of Keynote/Google Slides/PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
