If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Engineer to join our vibrant Sales Team.  

As a Solutions Engineer at Actionstep, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and driving our growth. You will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, addressing technical inquiries, and ensuring our clients understand the value of our solutions. Your technical expertise and excellent communication skills will be key in showcasing how Actionstep can meet the unique needs of our clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Actionstep’s product offerings and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to stay informed about upcoming features and enhancements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase Actionstep’s solutions.
  • Partner with the sales representatives to understand customer requirements and align Actionstep’s solutions with their needs.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, addressing prospect inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to prepare and deliver compelling proposals and technical documentation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering technical guidance and expertise to customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Conduct training sessions for sales teams to ensure they are equipped with the technical knowledge to effectively sell Actionstep’s solutions.
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, including technical documentation, case studies, and solution briefs.

Technically Confident:  You have confidence in your technical abilities and the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.

Requirements

What you need to know and what will make you successful!

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role within the technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex accounting concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business challenges.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site customer engagements as needed.
  • Comfortability working within Office 365.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Salesforce.com.
  • Exposure and knowledge of the legal industry. 

Other:

  • Suitable National Criminal Check.
