Optime is currently seeking a Resource Planner with a flair for tactical scheduling to join our team at Gatwick Airport (RH6).
As a Resource Planner at Optime, you’ll take the helm of our new flexible shift working tool, pioneering its integration into our daily workflows. With your strategic vision, you will refine our staffing patterns, guaranteeing operational efficiency and staff satisfaction.

- Rate of Pay: £26,000 per annum
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Office based)

Key Duties:
- Implement and champion our innovative flexible shift working tool, integrating it seamlessly into our existing processes.
- Conduct administrative tasks with precision, including the addition of shifts to systems and dispatching re-rosters to agency partners.
- Collect, and analyse on-the-ground staff feedback to enhance the uptake of shifts through our app.
- Proactively forecast staffing requirements, adjusting rosters to meet the changing landscape of airport activities.
- Foster clear lines of communication to ensure all team members are informed and prepared for shift changes.
- Pursue continuous improvements in scheduling efficiency, considering both operational demands and team welfare.
- Keep precise records of all scheduling and timekeeping to ensure accountability and transparency.
Requirements:
- Outstanding Customer Service skills
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in modern scheduling software and MS Office, ready to lead the adoption of our flexible shift working tool.
- Experience in resource planning or related roles, with a preference for those familiar with the aviation industry.
- Fantastic communication skills, crucial for coordinating with a diverse team and ensuring smooth operations.
- The ability to take the initiative and drive the integration of new technologies into daily operations.
