Role: Solution Architect
Location Requirement: Guadalajara (Hybrid)
What Does success mean in this role?
Design and develop end-to-end infrastructure solutions that are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Integrate networking, storage solutions, and server infrastructure to optimize performance, security, and data integrity.
Architect disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, ensuring minimum downtime and rapid recovery for critical systems.
Design cloud architecture strategies that leverage scalable, efficient cloud environments, and manage hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructures.
Implement and optimize virtualization technologies to enhance resource utilization and streamline infrastructure.
Work closely with security teams to embed cybersecurity best practices into infrastructure solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions that protect infrastructure assets from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Lead cross-functional projects by defining technical requirements, project goals, timelines, and milestones.
Collaborate effectively with developers, system administrators, and other IT staff to ensure infrastructure aligns with application and organizational needs.
Act as the primary technical advisor and mentor to team members, providing guidance and expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture principles and long-term IT strategy.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and infrastructure improvements that align with business growth and evolving requirements.
Define and enforce architecture best practices, standards, and guidelines.
Prepare detailed documentation and architecture blueprints that clearly define solution designs and key technical requirements.
Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting communication style as necessary.
Maintain clear communication with project managers and leadership to provide updates, anticipate project challenges, and manage risks effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
Deep knowledge of networking, storage solutions, server management, and virtualization technologies.
Proficiency in cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Extensive experience in database management and cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise in enterprise architecture principles, practices, and frameworks.
Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects from inception through implementation, including defining requirements, managing timelines, and guiding cross-functional teams through technical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Strong ability to translate technical details into business insights and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and implementing effective solutions in complex environments.
