Intermediate Civil Engineer | Water and Wastewater Environmental projects

Client:
Headquartered in Westchester County, our client encompasses an array of professional services unmatched in the industry. Designed to keep pace with project needs, they offer an integrated suite of engineering, design, construction and operations to the public and private sector. Experience with both institutional and corporate areas provide a broader understanding of what makes projects successful. This includes Environmental, Education, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Energy.

Description:
Immediate need for a Civil/Environmental Design Engineer on water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Work will be from the Pleasantville, NY office. This is for Hybrid; in-person for 3 days; WFH for 2 days.

Responsibilities:

Perform Civil and Environmental tasks on multiple projects
Work closely with Senior Engineers to coordinate design of projects across multiple disciplines
Carry out calculations and analysis
Prepare engineering plans and specifications
Provide engineering services during construction phase

Job Requirements:

3-5 years + experience in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
PE Licensed would be optimally desired but not required. But candidate should have the ability to obtain a License in 2-3 years
Experience preparing civil/environmental drawings and calculations in an engineering office
Knowledge of pumping and hydraulics for liquids and slurries
Experience with water and wastewater process design projects
Experience with earthwork and roadwork design
Experience with stormwater management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task

Education:
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
