Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading agency in the construction industry, seeking three experienced Civil Surveyor/Foremen to join our client's team in Wellington.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects and conducting accurate surveys to ensure project accuracy and compliance. You will be part of a dynamic team, working collaboratively with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver successful projects.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise survey activities on civil construction projects
- Manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors
- Monitor progress and quality of work on construction sites
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure project accuracy
- Utilize surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS systems
- Provide accurate and detailed reports on project progress and survey data
- Plan material requirements according to project plans
- Check and observe levels and lines during pipelaying
- Verify accuracy of benchmarks, survey beacons, and existing connection points
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Civil Surveyor/Foreman specializing in notable waterproofing and 'offshutter' concrete works.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in surveying techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Ability to efficiently manage resources.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations
- Valid driver's license (Code B)
- Preferably a Western Cape resident
