Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Micro-algae and Macro-algae Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer in the field of micro-algae and macro-algae, you will play a crucial role in the research, development, and implementation of algae-based solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee projects related to micro-algae and macro-algae cultivation, harvesting, and processing
- Design and optimize systems for algae cultivation, including bioreactors, photobioreactors, and pond systems
- Develop and implement innovative techniques for algae biomass extraction, lipid production, and value-added products
- Conduct research and experiments to improve algae strain selection, growth conditions, and productivity
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility and scalability of algae-based solutions
- Manage and analyze data related to algae growth, nutrient requirements, and environmental factors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements in the field of algae research
- Collaborate with external partners, universities, and research institutions to leverage expertise and resources
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings and project progress
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all aspects of algae research and development
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in micro-algae and/or macro-algae research and development
- Expertise in the Microalgae, macroalgae carbon offsetting, developing algae biotechnology.
- Extensive knowledge of algae cultivation techniques, strain selection, and growth optimization
- Experience in designing and operating algae cultivation systems, such as bioreactors and photobioreactors
- Strong understanding of algae biomass extraction, lipid production, and downstream processing
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation related to algae growth and productivity
- Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research and development environment
