As the Merchandise Flow Analyst, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and inventory productivity, with the goal of meeting/exceeding sales, margin and inventory turn targets; while decreasing overall inactive stock in our retail stores. Partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, Store Ops and teams, Planning and Allocation, the incumbent will develop and align retail store assortments, timely replenishment & identify opportunities within our Core, Full Price & Inactive Assortments in our retail stores.
The Opportunity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver against our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and successfully execute our strategies (maximize seasonal ST%, reduction of seasonal overstock, timely replenishment to ensure NOOS on Cire products)
- Manage the end-to-end Toolio allocation module process.
- Meet and collaborate with retail store managers and operations to identify opportunities, as well as provide a feedback loop from store management.
- Track overstock inventory related to allocation to stores and collaborate with Store Operations, Merchandising and Category Management to deplete inventory.
- Create allocation strategies and implement them within Toolio to manage new item distributions, manual forecasts, cycle bookings and seasonal bookings.
- Provide reporting on store performance weekly.
- Coordinate the seasonal booking process (ensure timelines are met by Category, Replenishment and suppliers).
- Collaborate with planning to track inbound inventory.
- Work with our Logistics teams to provide them with accurate information on upcoming net new launch distributions and replenishment releases within our expected shipmentsIdentify and implement improvement opportunities for the allocation table management process and create ad hoc reports as necessary.
- Manage and update all min/max tables, safety stock and allocation strategies within the Allocation Toolio module.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, and allocation strategies, with a proven track record in the retail industry.
- Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all allocation processes.
- Strong communication skills, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze and utilize financial measurements including sales, gross margin, receipt flow, OTB, etc. to impact the business
- Netsuite or mass data experience
- Ability to learn new technical applications and tools quickly
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain productive and cohesive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to “sell” ideas and influence senior management, peers, direct reports and cross-functional/business matrix
