Job Location: New York, NY (Telemedicine).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $140/hr for telemedicine. $180/hr if we need you to go onsite.
Schedule: Starting October 2024.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Endocrinologist to provide diabetes management programs to a private client in New York, NY area. The Physician will work directly with pre-diabetic or early-stage diabetes patients on a multi-week program to help improve their wellness and lifestyle. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide diabetes management program to patients based on our program guideline.
  
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns especially around diabetes.
• Educate patients around healthy eating and lifestyle.
• Educate patients around glucose monitoring.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Must have current NY license. Compact license or multiple state license strongly preferred.
• Background in preventive care and endocrinology.
  
• Experience with diabetes management.
• Preventive medicine oriented.
• Patient education driven.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
