Position Summary

This vision encompasses Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Analytics, and DEI initiatives, collaborating closely with Executive and HR leaders to implement innovative talent management solutions globally.

The IPG Mediabrands Learning & Development team is seeking a Specialist, Learning Solutions to assist in various learning initiatives, including development, implementation, facilitation, and assessment of employee development programs. Reporting to the Director, Learning Solutions, the Specialist will partner with diverse stakeholders to provide support across team projects. The Learning Solutions group collaborates with L&D leaders to assess centralized need and deploy scalable and impactful programs that develop employee growth and expertise in media, product, professional and leadership skills.        

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with L&D team leaders and agency stakeholders to develop learning solutions for business challenges.                                                                                                                                    
  • Design and develop in-person, virtual, hybrid learning, and microlearning coursework to engage synchronous and asynchronous learning.                                                                                           
  • Collaborate with learning design team to design and deliver learning programs, course content, and relevant course documentation such as job aids, resources, and facilitator guides.
  • Develop and facilitate training, workshops, focus groups, and learning labs.
  • Help develop success KPIs and deliver assessment and insights of results.  
  • Manage assigned projects with focus on timely and accurate delivery, and product excellence.
  • Research and evaluate external vendor solutions and content to bolster our offerings.
  • Communicate updates and important information about projects both internally and to agency stakeholders.   
  • Work with marketing teams to promote programs and employee learning opportunities.
  • Partner with learning operations to ensure seamless learner experience across our LMS, intranet, and other communications platforms. 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint). 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Ability to create and facilitate presentations across a range of audiences. 
  • Proven track record of proactive and agile problem-solving. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting of information. 
  • Project management with ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. 
  • Application of research-informed learning design and talent development practices.
  • Ability to question/challenge learning requests from stakeholders to establish root cause and best course of action for successful results.
  • Experience with developing, facilitating, and assessing learning & development programs across organizational levels.
  • Experience developing instructional materials across multiple modalities.
  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and managing stakeholder relationships on learning projects.    

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Prior media agency experience a plus.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) or eLearning authoring tools.

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
