About The Role
We seek a data analytics manager to work for our Financial Planning & Analysis team in our On-Demand Services vertical. In this role, you will be assigned to data-intensive projects & initiatives, owning & maintaining key management reporting, and running analyses to find growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, or ways to further mitigate risks. This role reports to the Senior Manager FP&A (Data).
What You Will Do
Data & Reporting Management:
- Owning processes to generate accurate business & financial performance reports for weekly and monthly business reviews; ensuring these reports are generated timely
- Maintaining correct methodologies to source data and calculate key performance metrics, and ensuring alignment across various reporting
- Liaising with data and business intelligence teams to ensure high data quality and helping to mitigate reporting issues by communicating them clearly to these teams.
Insight Generation & Analytics:
- Tracking key performance metrics on a routine basis and formulating logical explanations of these trends
- Answering questions, challenging assumptions, and validating hypotheses related to the business & financial performance of every business unit by running various data analyses
- Conducting exploratory analysis to find relationships between metrics and formulating them as standard frameworks that are replicable to update our standing about the state of various business units.
What You Will Need
- Degree-level qualification in Engineering / Business / Quantitative fields of study
- More than 4 years experience in analytics/business intelligence area, preferably with exposure to finance/accounting/business strategy functions
- Able to think critically and in a structured manner
- Highly proficient in SQL and basic knowledge of data modeling, experience with Google BigQuery is a big plus
- Proficient in working with various data processing tools, ranging from spreadsheets to scripting languages (preferably Python)
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently with high attention to detail.
