About Midnight:
IOG's Midnight Tribe is a business technology provider and core contributor to the Midnight Network, a blockchain platform for developing decentralized applications that safeguard personal and commercial data. The Midnight Network is the first blockchain to offer programmable data isolation by leveraging zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to enable selective disclosure of what information is visible on-chain and is designed to help developers implement necessary business policies, such as meeting regulatory requirements.
What the role involves:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Enterprise Architect with comprehensive full stack development skills to join our innovative team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust enterprise-wide solutions that align with our strategic objectives and technology roadmap. This role demands a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as a proven track record in driving digital transformation initiatives. If you are passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create scalable, high-performance systems and have a strategic mindset, we invite you to lead our architectural vision and shape the future of our enterprise infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working directly with the Head of IT in a small team, contributed from the very start to Enterprise Architecture design.
- Work directly with the Head of IT on developing and executing longer term IT vision and strategy.
- Provide direct and hands-on support for business critical applications, platforms and services - both internal and externally facing.
- Ensure alignment with the organization’s business goals and technology roadmap.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
- Be a key contributor to the architectural design of complex projects, ensuring consistency, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes.
- Ensure robust integration of systems and applications across the enterprise, fostering seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of architectural documentation, ensuring clear communication of designs and standards.
- Lead the effort in identifying and mitigating technical risks, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience as a full stack developer:
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions.
- Strong experience profile working across well known enterprise software vendor solutions such as Salesforce, ADP, Workday, ServiceNow or similar - in a design, solution or developer capacity.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Expertise in back-end technologies, including Node.js, Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of database systems, both relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., OWASP, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Strong experience with architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale software development and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring, optimization techniques, and scalability considerations.
