Department & Position Overview: 

The People, Data, Reporting and Analytics Lead will be responsible for managing and enhancing Civica’s HR data and analytics capabilities. This role will provide strategic insights through data analysis, reporting, and metrics that drive HR decision-making and business performance. The ideal candidate is a data-savvy professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of HR processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR data strategy that supports Civica’s business objectives and enhances decision-making capabilities. 
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data across all systems. Oversee data collection, maintenance, and updates in the HRIS. 
  • Create and deliver regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards to senior management, providing insights into key metrics such as turnover, headcount, diversity, and employee engagement. 
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform HR strategies and initiatives. Provide actionable recommendations based on data findings. 
  • Partner with HR leaders, business units, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions that support business goals. 
  • Work with IT and HRIS vendors to optimize HR systems for better data capture, reporting, and analytics capabilities. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve data-related processes and systems. Implement best practices in data management and analytics. 
  • Educate and train HR team members and business leaders on the use of data, reporting tools, and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making. 
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies in all data handling and reporting activities. 
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in HR analytics and reporting. Implement innovative solutions to enhance Civica’s data capabilities. 

Requirements

Essential Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in HR data management, with a proven track record of delivering insights and reports that drive business performance.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Abi and other data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical analysis software. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences. 
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices in data security.
