Job Description
As a Senior Implementation Project Lead, you will be pivotal in ensuring that bswift exceeds client expectations by delivering outstanding support for our top-tier HR software and services. In this senior-level role, you will manage the entire client implementation process, overseeing complex projects from kickoff through successful transition to the ongoing delivery team. Your expertise will be critical in coordinating efforts among internal and external stakeholders, maintaining governance, and ensuring that all project milestones and deliverables are met with the highest standards.

Fundamental Components:

  • Strategic Facilitation: Lead and facilitate high-level implementation meetings, including project kick-offs, status updates, and strategic workstream discussions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
  • Governance and Reporting: Oversee the reporting and governance processes, ensuring rigorous adherence to internal updates, contractual metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs). Provide executive leadership with timely updates on governance and execution.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and manage detailed project timelines to ensure seamless internal operations and efficient coordination among teams. Keep senior leadership informed about progress and any adjustments required.
  • Client Expectations Management: Proactively manage client expectations by identifying and mitigating project risks, addressing issues promptly, and communicating realistic turnaround times and delivery dates.
  • Project Ownership: Own and drive project plans and governance for assigned clients throughout the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the ongoing delivery team and maintaining continuous client satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with all critical project stakeholders, ensuring that project status is clearly communicated and key deliverable dates are met. Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address project and staffing risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure project integrity and successful outcomes.

Background/Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, with a demonstrated track record in managing complex implementations, preferably within benefits administration or HR technology sectors.
  • Expert Communication: Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members.
  • Client and Broker Relations: Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers, showcasing a high level of client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a senior team, demonstrating leadership and initiative in addressing challenges and driving project success.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and implementing innovative solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data summaries) and working knowledge of other MS Office products.
  • Operational Excellence: High level of productivity, reliability, and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all project aspects.

 

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
