SUMMARY
Pinelake Church is seeking an experienced Video Producer and Motion Graphics Designer with a proven track record of creating exceptional animation work. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to further Pinelake's mission and will play a crucial role in maintaining the visual identity of the church. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation, kinetic type, video editing, and motion graphics, particularly those involving photography of people and text, is a critical component of the application process.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of the Communications Team.
- Assist other staff members, when needed, to support teamwork and contribute to the successful completion of their objectives and strategies.
- Basic personal responsibilities:
- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
- Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintain active participation in a small group.
- Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal emotional and spiritual health.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Motion Design and Editing Excellence:
- Create visually stunning and impactful motion design solutions for various video projects; intro title videos for sermon series, motion graphics for promotional pieces, 2D & 3D animation elements for video.
- Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.
- Brand Experience:
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with established brand identities, maintaining brand consistency, and executing designs within specific brand parameters.
- Innovate and find creative solutions while adhering to brand guidelines, with a particular emphasis on balancing masculine and feminine design elements.
- Trend Awareness:
- Stay current with design trends and techniques, incorporating modern aesthetics into projects while respecting the church's unique identity.
- Collaborative Mindset:
- Collaborate closely with the Communications Team, providing design support and contributing to brainstorming sessions for various projects.
- Take direction effectively and adapt design concepts based on feedback.
- Contribute to the collaborative process, offering creative input and conceptual designs for leaders to choose from.
- Time Management:
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Teamwork and Feedback:
- Work cohesively within a team, taking feedback graciously and offering constructive input to enhance the creative process.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, mainly After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant design tools.
- Proficient in 3D design and motion graphics applications; C4D or other relevant tools (we use C4D primarily but are open to Blender, Unreal, etc).
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent minimum; college degree or experience preferred. Minimum of 4 years of professional motion graphics experience. Experience working with established brands and maintaining brand consistency. Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to translate them into effective design solutions. Ability to take creative risks and think outside the box while respecting brand guidelines.

The story of Pinelake Church began in February of 1971 in Brandon, Mississippi in a mobile chapel in a rural area near The Reservoir. By God's grace and power, our faith family has grown into a dynamic church spanning five cities throughout our state -- Clinton, Madison, Oxford, the Reservoir, and Starkville. Weekly, we serve over 12,000 people, but we celebrate stories of life change one person at a time.
