Release Coordinator

We are looking for a Release Coordinator to contribute to the Release Management life cycle including scheduling and management of Qualco Collections Releases as well as demand of Qualco Clients already in production.

Reporting to the Release Management Head, the role should work closely with the Service Management, Project Management, Product and Project Engineering, Demand Management, Business Application Consulting and Quality Assurance teams to coordinate QC Major and/or Minor releases in terms of scope, effort and quality. Specifically;

• Schedule, Monitor and Control progress of Major and/or Minor releases (Internal Analysis phase, Coding Phase, QA Phase, UAT/Bug-fixing) using available tools such as CA PPM, Azure DevOps, MS project, MS Teams etc;
• Understand the Code Branch constraints per client to accordingly plan and manage releases;
• Assure successful completion of the release phases to smoothly promote them to the next phase (Exit Criteria);
• Assure that the release dates are met;
• Adhere to and safeguard the process of all releases phases;
• Monitor & report on release effort (Baselines, ETC, Actuals, EAC);
• Organize and execute Defect Management meetings during QA phase;
• Organize and execute War-room meetings as per clients UAT plans in cooperation with Service and/or Project Managers;
• Capture Risks and Issues and provide mitigation plans in cooperation with the relevant teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in SW projects;
• Strong understanding of SW Development Life-cycle (SDLC), Defect Management and/or Quality Assurance;
• Ability to follow various SDLC models (mainly Waterfall but also Agile Framework);
• Project Management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability;
• Ability to negotiate and collaborate with all departments;
• Attention to the detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• A firm command of the English language, oral and written skills;
• BSc in Engineering or related field.
