Summary: The Global Copywriter at Huda Beauty is responsible for the creation and implementation of compelling content to inspire customers, drive business growth, and increase customer engagement while mastering the brand’s tone of voice. The Global Copywriter will work closely with various teams within the business, including but not limited to: Global Marketing, Brand, Product Development, VM and Creative to ensure all copy is consistent across brand and product launches.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing teams to write, edit, and proof compelling and engaging copy for marketing assets and materials across 3 brands, including but not limited to: brand messaging, marketing taglines, USP’s, ecom, press releases, influencer flyers, VM, in-store signage, website banners, video scripts & branded copy.
- Support the social team to write social copy for all launches and brand campaigns.
- Act as a guardian for the brand’s tone of voice and interpret it into compelling copy for brand campaigns & product launches.
- Interpret creative direction and adapt points from marketing briefs into the key marketing messaging per product launch.
- Stay up to date with relevant beauty, social & SEO terminology.
- Independently project manage end-to-end copy deliverables, approval processes & deadlines for each launch using a project management tool.
- Regularly compile and report market and competitor insights online and in-store to add value across marketing campaigns and communication platforms.
- Manage relationship with translators & ensure all translations are delivered to markets in a timely manner.
- Keep up to date with latest beauty, skincare, and fragrance trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline.
- 5+ years professional copywriting experience with strong portfolio of work (beauty and/or luxury experience).
- Exceptional oral, writing and research skills.
- Creative thinking: ability to conceptualize and apply storytelling to marketing copy.
- Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas. • Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented.
- Effective relationship-building skills; organizational agility to leverage relationships remotely across the organization.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate meetings in different time zones.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; personable, flexible with demands and changes in the business.
