What You'll Do
- Greet and welcome customers to the showroom, providing a warm and professional atmosphere.
- Assist customers in exploring and experiencing the collections, offering product knowledge and guidance.
- Actively engage with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend suitable solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
- Collaborate with the team to process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Provide support for showroom events, including new collection launches, designer collaborations, and seasonal sales and promotional activities.
- Stay up to date with the latest designs, trends, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing showroom inventory including samples and marketing materials by monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment as needed.
- Identify and reach out to potential clients through targeted outreach, networking events, and trade shows to expand the customer base and drive sales growth.
- Regularly visit clients at their offices, provide personalized service, address their needs, and attend industry events to strengthen relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.
What You Need
- Ability to work both inside (70%) and outside (30%) of the showroom to service customers; 40 hours/5 days per week, including weekends
- Previous experience in a showroom/retail sales environment, preferably in the luxury or furniture industry.
- Passion for outdoor furniture and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and/or during special events as required.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
