About the Opportunity:
Altium Education is seeking a dedicated ECAD Community Manager to join our Educational team in India. The primary responsibilities of this role will involve supporting University Engineering Faculty in implementing Altium Electronic Design micro-credential courses into their engineering classes and Altium 365 Workspaces. Additionally, the ECAD Community Manager will be responsible for engaging and supporting students who are exploring electronics and engineering. They will be responsible for hosting the Altium Tech Lounge, an online forum designed to support engineering students with their projects, design reviews, and use of the Altium 365 platform.
A Day in The Life of Our ECAD Educational Program Manager:
- Collaborate with University Engineering Faculty to integrate Altium Electronic Design micro-credential courses into their curriculum effectively.
- Host and moderate the Altium Tech Lounge, facilitating Altium 365 engagement, offering technical assistance, and sharing industry best practices.
- Engage with students to address their queries, review their design projects, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
- Collect feedback from both faculty and students to continuously improve the educational experience.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- Prior experience working with electronic design software - Altium experience is required
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both faculty and students effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve educational goals
- 1 to 2 years of experience or currently enrolled in a graduate program related to engineering or a relevant field
