Capco is looking for talented, innovative and creative people to join our incredible and growing Team focused on our financial services clients. We are looking for experienced Data Leads with exceptional domain expertise who can work directly with our clients on mission-critical projects.
About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that can inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use tools and methodologies to interpret data trends and patterns
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Document business requirements and ensure they align with the overall strategic goals of the bank.
- Lead data-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business objectives
- Work with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, operations to implement data solutions
- Monitor project progress and adjust plan as necessary to ensure successful completion
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across various systems.
- implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify discrepancies
- Help identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Identify potential risks related to data handling and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Collaborate with risk management team to develop mitigation strategies for data-related risks.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Business Analyst experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading a team of BA's
- Hands on technical experience along with managerial experience
- Hands on experience on Data Projects
- Hands on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge and hands on experience of Data modeling and database management systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python
- Previous financial industry experience in Data field.
