Master’s degree in a relevant technical field is an advantage.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> You should have a minimum of ten years of experience with significant experience in leadership positions within a high-end multidisciplinary development environment, specifically in mechatronics/ mechanics/ electronics or allied fields.</li><li><strong>Technological Awareness: </strong>Stay updated with the latest technologies and demonstrate a strong drive to apply them in your projects.</li><li><strong>Proactive and Analytical: </strong>Possess a proactive and analytical mindset, coupled with a "can-do" attitude to tackle complex mechanical challenges and drive innovation within your team.</li><li><strong>Communication Skills: </strong>Effective verbal and written communication skills in both <strong>English</strong> vital for collaborating with an international customer base and various teams within the organisation. Proficiency in Dutch language is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>You will manage, motivate and inspire a team of up to 30 professionals who are dedicated to improving, growing, and exploring new areas of expertise within the field of mechanical engineering. Your team will consist of a mix of talented individuals, experts, competence owners, integrators, and architects.</li><li>Plan development meetings during which you are expected to set goals and provide feedback to individual members of your group to ensure success. Create work breakdown structure and manage personnel planning. </li><li>Plan group meetings and set goals for the entire group. Ensure accountability within your group.</li><li>Manage administration for your group. Take charge of competency growth and recruitment within your group. This includes identifying talent and fostering the development of mechanical competencies within your team.</li><li>Assume responsibility for the review and release of mechatronic deliverables, ensuring they meet required quality and standards.
