At Te Manawa Family Services we work with men, women, young people, children and families, helping them break the cycles of violence and abuse; helping them towards changed lives. There’s no shame, no blame – and no excuses. It’s about rebuilding relationships. It’s about restoring trust and respect.
Due to continued growth and increased funding, we’re looking for a Women’s Programme Facilitator to join our team.
As Women’s Programme Facilitator, you will co-facilitate group programmes, undertake assessments and reviews, and provide individual, and whanau support as required. You’ll take a holistic approach to the role, and understand that at its core, it’s about relationships. This will be your standout quality/skill.
We’d love it if you had a social worker qualification, and ideally registration with a professional body. At a minimum, you will need qualifications in some kind of human service (counselling). You’re supporting vulnerable people, so you need to know what you’re doing!
We’re a small but mighty team of 18 and we’re diverse in more ways than one. We genuinely care about the wellbeing of our team and are committed to social work pay equity bands. We know you’re worth it.
This role is permanent with flexible hours to suit you, from 22.5 to 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday. Hours are 9am – 5pm. Afterhours sessions on an as needed basis.
Interested? Contact Genna on 021 537 875 or recruit@robynyoung.co.nz to learn more about the role.
