AP Accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AP  Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization. The primary responsibilities include processing accounts payable invoices, and reconciling accounts payable statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information
• Processing of payments and financial transactions to suppliers and obtaining goods and services from suppliers promptly
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies 
• Review and process employee expense reports 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions 
• Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audits 
• Work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 
• Desire to commence a professional accounting certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Prior Experience using Excel and accounting tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality 
• Fluent in English
