The Payroll Manager will oversee and supervise the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Prior Workday payroll experience required.
Past experience running union payrolls is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent spreadsheet skills (Excel/Sheets, etc.)
General Ledger experience
Prior work experience with a publicly traded company and/or experience working with a company involved in government contracts is preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required
Three to five years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
