This role offers a unique opportunity to provide healthcare to passengers and crew while experiencing life at sea.</p><p><strong>Job Overview</strong>:<br>The <strong>Medical Assistant (MA)</strong> is a key member of the onboard medical department, responsible for delivering both clinical and administrative support. As the first point of contact for medical services, the MA helps to ensure a smooth and efficient healthcare experience for both patients and staff. You will be involved in patient care, assist in daily medical operations, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the medical center.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Provide clinical and administrative support under the guidance of medical professionals.</li><li>Manage the medical reception area, welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and handling patient check-in procedures.</li><li>Perform basic patient triage, including taking vital signs and assisting with assessments.</li><li>Assist with specimen collection, laboratory testing, and patient care tasks.</li><li>Support health education and vaccination initiatives for crew members.</li><li>Help maintain medical inventory, ensuring equipment and supplies are properly stocked.</li><li>Process and manage both electronic and paper medical records, ensuring confidentiality.</li><li>Participate in onboard medical training, safety drills, and competency programs.</li><li>Support audits, inspections, and public health compliance efforts.</li><li>Maintain the company’s high standards for customer service and uphold core values.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Requirements</strong>:</p><p><strong>Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:</strong></p><ul><li>Assistant Nursing degree or Medical degree (Phlebotomy, Lab Technician, Medical Technician, etc.) or any foreign equivalent is needed.</li><li>A valid license from a country or State/Province of origin is required.</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year post-graduate clinical experience is required.</li><li>Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
