HAUS is seeking a driven, collaborative, and innovative Sound Design Lead, with Post Production Sound Editing and mixing skills to support a large global entertainment client. This role will serve as an integral player in creating and exploring trailers, teasers, and other promotional assets. We are only considering Mexico City candidates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering sound mixes (Stereo and 5.1) for video assets and various audio/video innovation projects.
- Editing sound effects to picture using licensed libraries as well as designing custom effects for original video assets such as (trailers, previews, etc)
- Collaborating closely with audio and video teams to create compelling creative assets.
- Working on assets with several internal teams to support their creative missions and goals.
- Must be able to take creative direction and execute the client's creative vision.
Requirements
- Should be well-versed in editing and mixing all common audio formats, sample rates, video frame rates, and traditional multi-channel audio configurations (Stereo, 5.1)
- Proficiency in Pro Tools
- Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere)
- Knowledge of A/V deliverable formats & workflows
- Ability to self-manage and organize workloads around tight deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Multilingual is a must in both English and Spanish. While this work is LATAM focused, the role will require you to work on assets for every corner of the globe in many different languages.
- Basic music editing skills are greatly appreciated
- Experience working on trailers and promotional content is a huge plus
