Senior Embedded Android Engineers - (TE)

We are now looking for Senior Embedded Android Engineers in Software on behalf of our client. The work means working in the lower level of the stack in the phone with a deep architecture knowledge.

Scope:
The assignments may include working in areas like Device drivers, OS, Graphics, System Core, Kernel, File system and Sensors. The team also work with NFR – None Functional Requirement so optimization in System performance, power and thermal mitigation is another important part of the work. The work as such has focus around both bring-up, bugfix and analysis.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of similar experience within embedded systems and Android
• Experience with software bring-up and debugging of multicore/multi-threaded systems is very valuable.
• Good knowledge of the Android platform development
• Good knowledge of C/C++ and Java programming
• Experience in embedded Linux Kernel platforms
• Good knowledge of Device driver
• Experience in System core
• Good knowledge and experience in NFR (None Functional Requirement)

Good to have:

• Qualcomm platforms
• Software code reviewing
• cross-functional collaborations and attitude that gets things done

Soft skills:

• BSc / MSc or equivalent
• Fluency in Spoken / Written English
• Must be able to work both in team and independently
• Attention to detail, delivers with high quality
• Supportive, communicative and knowledge-sharing mindset

What’s in it for you?

For this position we offer a salary of 45000 – 52000 SEK gross per month, based on the level of prior experience. About 30% goes in taxes whereof up to 18,5% is automatically credited your personal pension plan which you will receive regardless of which country you reside in upon retirement.
