Associate & Senior Associate Consultants

Avania is hiring Associates and Senior Associates to join our Market Access/Reimbursements Consulting Team

Do you have your graduate or post-graduate degree? Are you adept at  writing and editing? Do you enjoy a consulting role?

Following the recent acquisition of Hull Associates, Avania seeks ambitious, motivated candidates with healthcare experience for Associate and Sr. Associate roles in our Boston, MA office.

In these roles, you will develop health economic strategies for the latest, leading-edge innovations in medical devices, lab tests, and MedTech. You will work with both start-ups and major manufacturers across the USA and globally. 

Specific job activities include strategy assessments, drafting proposals and research plans, performing market and desk research, project coordination, presentations, and extensive client interactions/consulting throughout the project.

We seek -

• Candidates with a minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare or a similar consulting field; 5+ years needed for Senior Associate. Prior healthcare experience is required.
• Candidate must have demonstrated editing and writing skills throughout their academic and professional career.
• Master's degree in a health discipline, business or law; Doctorate degrees are preferred for Sr. Associate candidates. Both professional degrees, law and business, as well as majors in health sciences, public health, public policy and social sciences (i.e., psychology, philosophy) are welcome
• A minimum of 2-3 years related work experience is required for Associate level; 5+ years needed for Senior Associate. Prior healthcare experience is required
• Strong demonstrated writing and editing experience required
• Good project coordination skills
• Excellent consulting skills; able to negotiate, persuade, and educate clients
• Desire to learn about Reimbursement and commercialization of clinical trials
