Energy storage is the key to unlocking a future where our world is powered by renewable resources. At Convergent Energy and Power, our mission is to make the electrical grid cleaner, more reliable, and less expensive by leveraging state-of-the-art energy storage and distributed generation technologies.

The Head of Asset Portfolio Management will own and drive the optimization of Convergent's energy storage and renewable energy portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is pivotal in maximizing financial performance, ensuring compliance, and driving product innovation. This role initially requires the ideal candidate to roll up their sleeves and build our capability while, in the long run, building out a team that can scalably carry out these capabilities. • Financial Performance Measurement: Establish a process for promptly measuring each asset's financial performance after each reporting period.

Strategic:

  • Strategic Asset Planning: Create detailed plans for each asset to maximize revenue, including minor adjustments and major strategic decisions, while also being open to unconventional approaches and outside-the-box thinking.
  • Market Expertise: Cultivate a team with a deep understanding of the energy markets where we currently operate and new markets we aim to enter, ensuring strategic decisions are informed by comprehensive market insights.

Data-Driven:

  • Performance Indicators: Identify leading performance indicators, collect real-time data, and integrate it into a dashboard for each asset.
  • PeakIQ Development: Drive the strategic direction for PeakIQ, prioritizing product developments based on value and resource availability.
  • Asset Management Tools: Manage and optimize the tools responsible for Asset Management (KPIs, financial performance, and ROI maximization), ensuring they are effective, up-to-date, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Operational:

  • Operational Collaboration: Ensure strategic alignment with the operations team for asset management and day-to-day operations.
  • Compliance Management: Maintain a comprehensive list of compliance reporting requirements and ensure processes are in place to meet them.
