MISSION STATEMENT

CORE JOB DUTIES
- Support field Operations and Engineering staff across the network including all aspects of cultivation processing, manufacturing, kitchen, and packaging
- Travel to sites within network to lead new initiatives, support updates to processes and address gaps identified that impact the execution of business plan
- Work with leadership to develop and enhance innovative, timely, and cost-effective solutions that align and improve on existing processes, equipment, and/or reporting across all markets within the organization
- Review and interpret technical engineering drawing, blueprints, manufacturers manuals and specifications and make appropriate recommendations
- Define critical process parameters, operational ranges and acceptance for quality assurance and process validation
- Coordinate, and manage execution of activities and project deliverables across all cross functional operations departments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and/or program issues
- Act as a key point of contact between site Operations and Maintenance staff, as well as cross functional corporate support roles (engineering, construction, etc.)
- Support Facility Project Engineers with equipment manufacturer communications and vendor management
- Collaborate with Facility maintenance and engineering team members as required to prepare and submit Change Orders
- Lead various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects – including Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing. Actively participate in equipment validation and qualification
- Organize and provide training for operations and engineering employees on processes, procedures and equipment relevant to execution of cultivation processing, manufacturing, kitchen, and packaging operations
- Ensure site operations and engineering teams execute duties in a safe and efficient manner as outlined in SOPs and adheres to all safety rules and regulations
- Implement equipment preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance
- Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial processing, packaging, and automated equipment
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
- Ensure all production documentation is maintained timely and accurately
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Bachelors preferred, in lieu of a degree 3-5 YOE in same or related field
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer Certification a plus
- Experience developing, reviewing, redlining, and approving automation engineering specifications
- Proficient with AutoCAD, or other design software
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines (GMP, GDP, ASTM)
- Experience working with automated manufacturing and processing lines preferred
- 3-5 years automation engineering experience within manufacturing or CPG industry preferred
- Familiarity with automation controls and PLC programming preferred
- Proficient with lockout tagout procedures (LOTO) and other OSHA safety standards
- Supervisory experience
- Basic understanding of Root Cause Analysis
- Computerized Maintenance Management System experience
- Experience with combination scales and fill equipment (preferred)
- Food manufacturing experience (preferred)
