Why this Role Matters
The Accounting Policy and Reporting team ensures Financial Statements and processes around relevant line items are administered, prepared and reported in accordance with IFRS converged with Generally Accepted Accounting and Company policies. Due to the dynamic business environment and strict deadlines across the organization, efficiency , accuracy and attention to detail is crucial as well as the ability to collaborate and maintain strong partnership across stakeholder groups.
This role is based in our New Jersey office location and is a hybrid schedule.
What you will do, but not limited to
- Ensures the integrity of reporting of accounting results with proper application of accounting principles.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing tasks including journal entries for select areas such as employee awards and relevant reporting.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to understand business processes and assist in resolving issues.
- Preparation of Account Reconciliations in support of specific accounts in the financial statements.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances on a timely basis.
- Guide teams in development of enhancements to revenue controls in the SOX framework
- Responsible for streamlining and improving process for relevant areas.
- Support Corporate reporting of Financial statement disclosures. Ad hoc requests.

- Expertise creating financial spreadsheets, charts and reports
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills with ability to confidently and effectively communicate to all people at all levels of the company

- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills. Curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
- Experience extracting statistical and informative reports from a financial system.
- Ability to communicating complex financial information to non-financial audiences and decision makers
- Analytical skills to evaluate and interpret financial information
- Knowledge of Technical accounting and SOX principles
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work in fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
What is required for application
- Bachelor Degree required
- Minimum 5-7+ years required in Corporate Accounting
- CPA Required
- Advanced Excel, Tableau, Google sheets, Oracle Fusion, Smartview experience preferred (Multi facet accounting software I.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.)
