Clear Street is building new infrastructure for today’s financial institutions. Founded in 2018, Clear Street is an independent, non-bank prime broker replacing the legacy infrastructure used across the capital markets today. 

We started from scratch by building a completely cloud-native clearing and custody system designed for today’s complex global markets. Clear Street’s proprietary prime brokerage platform adds significant efficiency to the market, while focusing on minimizing risk and cost for clients regardless of size or revenue opportunity. The Role:

We are looking for an Associate to work as part of the Clear Street LLC’s Clearing / Purchase and Sale team, a part of the operations division. This role will ensure reporting accuracy while contributing to the consistent optimization of our company. You will own the timely booking of trades, balancing versus the Clearing Houses & processing Exercise Instructions. You will communicate with external brokers and clients as well as internal traders and team members to support timely settlement and accuracy of books and records.

• You will perform daily reconciliations.
• You will monitor & resolve exceptions & rejects in trade flows & postings.
• You will balance internal positions versus the OCC
• You will process & balance Exercise & contrary instructions
• You will contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team.

 

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of professional experience in clearing listed options.
• Proficiency in OCC applications
• Series 4 and 7 preferred
• Strong Communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• You enjoy increasing efficiency by utilizing technology.
