EquipmentShare is Hiring a Legal Technology Administrator

EquipmentShare is searching for a Legal Technology Administrator for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our Legal team as the department continues to grow.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Document review project management, including: preservation and litigation holds; collection; extraction and importing; review for privilege; redaction; production; and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation, subpoenas, and investigations
  • Assist in developing effective searches, referencing ESI Protocols, following entered Protective Orders, and implementing data analytics in the company's eDiscovery tools
  • Troubleshoot challenges with incoming data and documents
  • Demonstrate an understanding of e-discovery database software programs, including
  • Relativity and Logikcull
  • Responding to requests from outside counsel and vendors
  • Maintain organized legal files and document repositories
  • Train attorneys, paralegals, and contract attorneys on e-Discovery software
  • Monitor compliance with discovery deadlines and requirements including by creating and maintaining central database of documents and productions
  • Provide administrative support

Perform administrative functions on various legal software including LawVu and SimpleLegal

Skills & Qualifications 

  • At least 3 years eDiscovery experience as a litigation paralegal or attorney in a law firm, an in-house legal department or with an eDiscovery/Litigation Support Vendor
  • Strong computer, quantitative data analysis, and word processing skills, including ability to learn and adapt to new project management systems and productivity tools, preferably with experience using Relativity, Logikcull, and LawVu
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization and handle numerous competing demands in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with outside counsel and vendors
  • Adaptable to growth and changes in organization, role, and systems
  • Proactive and able to anticipate and address imminent needs and challenges related to current tasks
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
