Procurement Manager

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with stakeholders and budget owners to support business requirements
Support stakeholders spend requirements and priorities by guiding procurement initiatives
Follow preferred supplier strategy and ensure proper policies are used and leveraged
Select supplier sources by guiding competitive sourcing activities
Negotiate optimal terms and conditions in contracts with selected suppliers
Work directly with legal team on contract negotiations/reviews
Establish consumption-based engagement models and operationalize negotiated contracts
Optimize key supplier partnerships and simplify the buying approach by negotiating rate cards with key suppliers
Ensure appropriate business controls are in place to reduce risk and protect Red Hat

REQUIRED SKILLS
A Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or related field is required; MBA candidates are preferred;
5 to 7 years procurement experience in various roles;
Have developed and led strategic sourcing initiatives for Marketing Services purchases;
Strong analytical skills in performing bid analysis, cost analysis, fair-value analysis, and scenario modeling;
Complex problem solving with development and implementation of creative solutions;
Solid experience with contract negotiations at senior levels;
Experience in building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers;
Successfully influenced a wide range of stakeholders;
Led multi-disciplined projects with minimal amount of supervision;
Experience presenting complex ideas to management in a simplified manner;
Customer service oriented, team-player attitude, with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
