The Senior Director/Director, Pricing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of Xometry’s revenue and profitability targets, market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscapes. The ideal candidate will be commercially-focused, possess strong analytical skills, have a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with overall business priorities to maximize long term gross profit growth.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify pricing opportunities and optimize revenue generation.
Analyze customer segmentation and pricing elasticity to determine optimal pricing structures.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations and product development teams to drive alignment on the execution of pricing strategies.
Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make necessary adjustments.
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive pricing practices.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in application of data analysis and statistical modeling to financial forecasts and business cases.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of pricing software, tools and the application of AI/ML.

Desired Skills:

Experience in the manufacturing industry.
Practiced in the implementation of pricing optimization techniques.
Responsibility for the P&L impacts of pricing strategy.
Experience with pricing in a global complex marketplace.
